On November 14-th 2019 “Joint VET Course for Export Experts (Expovet)” was presented at Bulgarian Information Agency in Sofia, Bulgaria. The organizers were the Institute for Postgraduate Studies, division of the University of National and World Economy, Bulgaria and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

The 2nd Thematic Workshop ‘Joint qualification profile of the Export Expert (WP3)’ was held in
Suite Hotel Sofia, Sofia, Bulgaria on November the 14th 2019 from 15.30 to 17.30. After the arrival
of the participants they were welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Vasil Petkov from IPS at UNWE. He
explained to them the purpose of their participation and the types of questions they might have to
answer.

The press conference of the European project EXPOVET was held yesterday in the Mediterranean Palace Hotel – Thessaloniki with great success. More than 40 representatives of local press attended the event.
The Board of Directors of SEVE – Greek Exporters Association invites you to a press conference on Tuesday, December 10th at 11:30 am, at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel, for the official presentation of the European Project ” EXPOVET – Joint VET Course for Export Experts ” implemented by SEVE, with the participation of representatives of the project leader, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and other stakeholders.

A few words about the project:
The project aims at developing a further training qualification at higher qualification level (EQF 6) in the field of international commerce for university graduates and unemployed individuals. It also aims at enhancing the transnational networking between Higher Education Institutes, Vocational Training Providers and labour market actors. The qualification would be offered by universities or training providers affiliated to universities, members of the network.
– A joint qualification profile in the field of international commerce (“Export Expert”) based on training needs & skills demand analysis.
– A joint curriculum (at EQF level 6) in the field of international commerce offered by three universities or further training institutes (VET providers at tertiary level) at universities.
– A sustainable network of organizations across geographical borders building on synergies and complementarities in the field of international commerce
