The central aim
developing a cross-national, interregional, continuous VET framework at a higher level (EQF 6) in the field of international commerce.
More specifically,
The project aims at developing a further training qualification at higher qualification level (EQF 6) in the field of international commerce for university graduates and unemployed individuals it aims at strengthening the transnational networking between Higher Education Institutes, Vocational Training Providers and labor market actors.
Universities or vocational training institutes affiliated to universities would offer this qualification.

The specific aims of the project are:
- Develop a joint higher VET Course on issues concerning business intern
- Strengthen the project-based transnational collaboration between SMEs & VET providers at tertiary level.
- Improve and validate transversal entrepreneurial and communication competences of the
- Use work-based learning (traineeship) & mobility components.

The ExpoVET so far:
The Kick – off Meeting in Thessaloniki on 7 & 8 of February 2019, with the participation of all partners, was a successful start where we put the bases for the next steps of our project.
Initially, focus-groups were organized in Greece, Romania as well as in Bulgaria to discuss the e-survey results on the specific training needs of the students and skill demands of SMEs on issues concerning internationalization and international commerce.
In addition, the 1st Thematic Workshop has taken place in Bonn on 4 of July 2019, focused on the results of the above e-survey results. More specifically, a first list of professional tasks attached to the position of export experts. This was an important step towards the development of a joint qualification profile of the Export Expert.
The 2nd Thematic Workshop has taken place in Sofia on 14 of November 2019 focused on the joint qualification profile of the Export Expert. This meeting was a milestone to proceed to the Joint higher VET Course for Export Experts.
Moreover, the Thematic Workshop organized on-line by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies on 26 of June 2020 focused on the Joint higher VET Course (Curriculum) for University graduates for economic & business disciples, with the participation representatives from business representative bodies, academics who are related to International Trade, students of the three Universities and Exports.
Finally, the 4th Thematic Workshop organized on-line by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki focused on the main deliverables of WP5: “Set up common sustainable cooperation structure”, such as: the Business Plan, the Memorandum of Understanding, the Joint Course, and the Pilot Implementation on the network activities.

Finally, a National Forum organized on-line on Friday 19 of February 2021 by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece aiming to disseminate at national level the main aim, activities, deliverables, and results of EXPOVET project. In addition, an on-line press conference organized some days before on Monday 15 of February 2021 by Auth to disseminate EXPOVET project and promote the above-mentioned Forum.
Finally, a National Forum organized on-line on Friday 19 of March 2021 by University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria aiming to disseminate at national level the main aim, activities, deliverables, and results of EXPOVET project.
Upcoming Event
Until the end of the project, the following 2 important transnational events will take place:

The Final Transnational Managerial Meeting will take place on-line on Tuesday 23 of March 2021 to discuss the preview the whole project and arrange the final implementation steps.

The Final Transnational Dissemination forum will take place on-line on Friday 26 of March 2021 to disseminate at transnational level the main results of EXPOVET project.
Additionally, relevant National Forum will be organized in Romania to disseminate also the main aims/activities/results of EXPOVET project at national level.
