Dr. Ramona Iulia Dieaconescu is an Associate professor at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (BUES), has a PhD degree in International Business and Economics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, post-doctoral degree (BUES) and Master degree in Management of International Business (BUES). The main research interests are in: foreign trade, international logistics, global supply-chains, business environment, intercultural negotiation, sustainable development, corporate governance, educational methods. Member in 6 projects (competitive advantage of exports from Romania, labor market insertion of future graduates, business simulation, and competitiveness of the health sector), 5 of which were co-financed by the EU. Member of the Directory Council of the Center of International Business and Economics (CCREI), The Scientific Council of The Romanian Economic Journal, The Directory Council of the Alumni BUES Association, Networking Supply Chain Professionals (ARILOG), The Monetary Research Center (MRC) Bulgaria. Author/co-author of 3 books, 35 international peer-reviewed articles and contributions to conference proceedings |
| Dr. Dorel Mihai Paraschiv |
Dr. Dorel Mihai Paraschiv is the Vice-Rector for the relationship with the business environment and the student life. He is a full professor at BUES and a visiting professor at Austrian and French universities. He holds a Ph.D. in International Business and Economics (BUES) and an MA in Intra-European Transactions (BUES). Also, Dr. Paraschiv is Doctoral Coordinator (2016) in international business, manager, and a member of 10 international projects, including an ERASMUS PLUS project since 2016. He was Vice-Rector of the BUES in charge with International Relations between 2012 and 2016. |
| Dr. Catalin Ploae |
Dr. Catalin Ploae is a Lecturer at BUES, holds a Ph.D. in International Business (BUES), a post-doctoral degree (Romanian Academy) and an MA in Marketing (University of Lille). His Research interests are on intercultural management, innovation and sustainable endeavors, community involvement and economic, environmental and social sustainability. He has been a member in 11 projects (development of interdisciplinary research in educational system, economic sustainability, the assessment of Romanian agriculture sector), 7 co-financed by the EU. He is an author/co-author of 5 books, 1 book chapter, 29 international peer-reviewed articles and has many contributions to conference proceedings. |
